Our Favorite Blogs

September 14, 2010

Recently, I have become a big fan of blogs.  I have to confess– my favorite blogs are not literary (although I do read book club blogs from time to time), they are not blogs about the latest trends in communications, and they are not blogs about issues in education.  They are, however, “educational”.

I turn to blogs whenever I need tips on everything from what to cook for supper, to the best way to get stains out, to purchasing a new steam iron.  And I don’t turn to the “experts.”  My favorite blogs are written by women just like me.  Women who are busy managing families and careers– women who know the inside scoop– women I can trust.

I also subscribe to blogs through my facebook page.  This keeps me up-to-date on the newest posts and also lets me decide which articles I want to read without having to travel to several different websites.

What kinds of blogs do you read?  If you haven’t read a blog yet, what are you waiting for?  Take a few minutes and surf the Internet or even WordPress.  Check out a blog on a topic of interest.  In the comment section, leave a message about a particular blog you read on a regular basis or about something you have learned recently from reading a blog

I read a blog on internet shopping and i was surprised to learn how popular it has become. With so many company’s making internet shopping available, that you could never leave your house. You can buy clothes, household items, and even groceries online. What happened to actually going out of the house?

I just started a blog called Bipolar Woman on WordPress. I enjoy reading blogs by other women. We can all learn so much from each other.
